A merry belated Christmas to all!!

It's not that I've been too busy to blog. Lazy. Haha

So I've been back home in Asap since the 21st. When you balik kampung especially during festive seasons, all you do is eat. Literally. I've put on a good 2kg I presume *pats the tummy*

Jess left about a week ago. Yeah, ok ok I miss having a female my age-ish around the house. How to ask Kenaidy for pads during emergencies ba right? Who's 'boobs' am I gonna smack for fun now.. Only Jess and Kenaidy know why I used inverted commas there. LOL LOL. The house is gonna be super quiet in about a month's time when its my turn to leave. Sigh...... 5 more weeks. Time flies.

I checked out my O-week schedule, turns out orientation starts on 15thFeb instead of the 10th. I'm supposed to arrive Perth 1st Feb. So...... 15 days of....??? Deh. I hope my mum can push back the dates to the 10th ka what. Don't wanna leave so soon. Yeah I know I've been saying "I can't wait to leave" la all that. pft. yeah. Looking at situations, kinda don't wana leav edi. mm.

I can put together sentences in Kayan now. Banyaks the improvemente! Hahaha. It was good going back this year. Usually I would dread. Hey I tried this time. I realised I took a lot for granted, this year was just different. I'm glad we had that Hari Keluarga. That 13 orginal doors theme thing they did hit some part of me, don't know why. I guess knowing how the whole longhouse came about membarakan my semangat a bit. All the 'pons' (orang-orang tua la) buka cerita. Haha it was sweet.

Still... look East. That's what I say. Huahua. The Japanese and Koreans are beautiful people. The beautiful ones la.

Aiya sorry la people. I wish I had real things with real substance to talk about. Actually got la but yeah the L word very powderful. L.A.Z.Y.

Mee Kolok

So I woke up 'early' today at 830am to go with my dad to pick the Prado up from the workshop. As I was driving the Myvi home, I suddenly felt hungry and started craving for mee kolok =p which is weird because I don't usually take breakfast so early (..for me anytime before 1030am is early lol) let alone crave for such a heavy one. I had actually already turned in to Lutong Bazaar and was going to buy from Lutong Cafe (which if I'm not mistaken is famous for its nice and cheap mee kolok) when it started raining and people starting packing inside. Drove off, and went to Lutong Baru instead to look around. There was this shop at the corner which I haven't been to in a very long time. Never really liked going there because I thought the taukenio looked garang. haha. So anyway, I ordered from her tapau and took a seat.

She was sitting at the table beside talking to this lady with all these small pieces of paper that looked like gospel tracks to me. I sat there and eavesdropped a bit... and yes, they were gospel tracks because in her super broken bm and english, she was sharing about Jesus Christ to this woman. And I couldn't help but listen, because it was interesting to hear who Jesus was to her. She was telling stories about how God would be in her everyday life even when she buys vegetables early in the morning to take to her cafe, and how she would pray for God to show his glory even when she walks around the food market. Aiyah, it was all very the interesting la, to hear how God works in another Christian's life which is totally different from mine and most people I know. Which made me think as well, when was the last time I shared the gospel to someone? The taukenio was telling the other lady in her very cute (and loud) high-pitched lunch-lady voice, "....because you know Jesus is already so kind to us kan, buat apa sometimes orang mau kasi simpan diam2. He so good to us mah, so we must tell people la". Those were her exact words btw! Haha. Simple but powferful quote, no?

When my mee kolok finally arrived, I really didn't feel like leaving, I wanted to stay, order a hot milo and listen more. Dah the whether cun. Haha. But yeah, then who would cook lunch and clean the house before the family come home right? Deh. But wenihoo, I got the feeling that maybe I was meant to be there that day, cause yeah... mee kolok for breakfast.. I never thought it was a good thing to do. Haha.

Think twice

I was in Parkson with Jess the other day, and we went into Davin (old wing) just to look-see-look-see. We tried on a few stuff for fun, some of the stuff there turned out to look quite nice on us =))) But sadly, we didn't have enough cash with us so we decided to come back and buy the next time around.

I was browsing through some blogshops tonight (something I MUST MUST MUST stop doing, temptation to buy is so hard to overcome! XD) and I was so shocked to see the same thing I tried on sold online for less than half the price sold at Davin. I'm so glad I didn't have enough money that day, or else I would've bought that top already =p Jess went back to buy the dress she tried on for RM120 was it? I wonder how much its really worth...... huahuahua..

So yeah. Even if you have enough cash on you, think twice before buying! Ask yourself, "How much would a blogshop sell this for?". Hahahah =p

Parachute

Stumbled upon this band on Youtube. Fresh out of college and this is their first album. I find its awesome for a debut album. Downloaded it last night. Huahua. Honestly, I think they're gonna do great. For an Augustana lover such as myself, I'm liking their sweet mellow sound =))





I think I've found another song I'd like to be sung at my wedding. Hah! <3

And today I was behind the teacher's desk..

I never thought I would say this but I kinda enjoyed it =p

Sat in for Ian today, Form 3 and 4 students. Only half the class came because of PMR this week. naww it was okay. Sitting in again next Saturday and expecting a noisier class next week when there are more students. AND I'm taking another Primary 2 class too. Little monsters I heard =(((

Guess there's no EYM for me next week. Full day at the centre, from 730am to 630pm. Mehh.
