Aowa

I was out at Parkson today with my sister and Ninyang. We got off the escalator to the top floor of the new wing. Usually I would turn left to avoid those superrrr annoying promoters at Aowa. Don't know why today I kinda forgot, and turned left, right into their territory. They practically ambushed me, shoving a free wireless doorbell in my face. Stupidly, I took it. HUGE mistake I know.

Eventually, they managed to pull me into their pameran and said it would only take 5 minutes. Being me, finding it difficult to tolak these kinda things, I just went with it. Look see look see, waa ok your induction cooker so cool, ya my hand doesn't burn off when I touch the surface oohh. They sat me down to ask me for feedback, filled in some form, then they brought us over to the couch to promote even more. Apa la them, I sat there for a good 20 minutes.. 5 minutes my foot. Lol. But it was ok though, I had fun talking to them eventhough I had no interest in what they were promoting. Turned out the two promoters were the same age as me and they started getting more friendly and casual. I figured, hey..they're 20, I'm 20, we all know I'm not going home with an induction cooker at the end of the day, so time to work some magic! Lolll. They were ok... but, nahhhh. Hahah!

Bla bla bla, promote promote promote, then they gave me this voucher thing. You know like fortune cookies, you have to bite open to get your fortune. So yeah, I tore it open and I looked at it blankly and showed it to them. Friggin' hilarious, they took it from me and stared at it, BOTH saying "Yarabi... biar betol tok?" Hahahahahahhhhh. To cut the story short, apparently I won some promotion thing and there's supposed to be only two winners in Miri I think?. A free induction cooker and a pressure cooker costing almost RM4000. But then these things always have a catch. I get those things free if I buy something else from the promotion items with a RM100 discount...and everything on that item list cost over RM2000. I gave them the =.=" look, you see me student you think I wanna buy meh... lol. Gave my dad a call to see if he wanted it, he said to just let it go. So yeah.... all I got out of that experience was their age, what school they went to, found out that one of them knows a cousin of mine (Josh, the guy knows you) and whole dump load of information about induction cookers.

*shrugs* nyeh...
