So this is a diagram of the impact of the big tsunami that hit mainly Bandar Acheh and Phuket in 2004. Sometimes it makes me think. What if West Malaysia and the Sumatra Islands weren't there? Sarawak. Miri. would have been finished. If you think about it, we're quite shielded by Indonesia and the Philippines. Gotta count our blessings man.

Makes me think...Those in Banda Acheh and the northern part of west malaysia can't really count their blessings, can they? Biggest tsunami recorded in modern times. Can't be really fair if you can count your blessings and they can't.

heh. yeap thats true. of course it isn't fair to them. but when i realised where miri is on the map, it just kinda hit me. i can't imagine what it would be like if it were miri. shivers.
