yes i are back

I don't know how many people will read this after months and MONTHS of not posting anything up here =p So yes, for those of you who don't know (but I'm pretty sure you do know after all the ranting out on previous posts) I am in Perth furthering my studies in geology. long story. anyhoo, it's been great so far. Especially the part with no curfews haha. Though sometimes I miss...can I say miss?.. the need for curfews and the nagging. Gah. All part of the process I guess. Heh.

Had a hard time the first few months but then again, doesn't everyone?

Miss my family. Miss my two kids Coffee and Naboo. Miss my room. Miss having a car to drive. Miss THE WEATHER! (makes us hot and sweaty but yea, it beats freezing to death). I miss real belacan. Malaysian food here makes me wanna laugh. A stick of lousy satay that doesn't even taste like satay for RM6. Upside: chasau pau (not sure how to spell it) here is good. and DIM SUM. Puts 2020 to shame.

Oh and people are so polite here, its feels weird hearing someone say 'thank you' or 'excuse me' nicely to you. And I love that we can just lie down on any random patch of grass and no one would think you're some crazy and homeless, like what people back in Malaysia would think. lol.

Didn't think I would but I joined OCF (Overseas Christian Fellowship) and I've settled in Subiaco Church of Christ (no, they're not mormons =p) and am serving in the worship ministry. So in that department, I'm doin alright =)

and! and! I'm coming hoooooooomee!!! 20th June, here I come =D
